Just a heads up, I’m instituting a rule where no standins will get MVP anymore, I want this to showcase the players from each team and not just some rigged stand in.

Lala 0–2 Sasquatch

Game 1 MVP
Sasquatch (16–3–12 pos. 1 Riki)
The captain putting in another big carry performance as his team puts in a fairly dominant game 1. The team got an early lead and didn’t let up, having a networth advantage from minute 5 until the end of the game.
Game 2 MVP
Mercii (6–2–7 pos. 4 Sand King)
Game 2 ended up being a 20 minute stomp, so mvp could end up going to anyone on the team. However, Mercii put in a big performance on pos. 4 SK for the 2nd game in a row.

Pishtya 2–0 Econ

Game 1 MVP
Majka (10–0–6 pos. 2 Drow Ranger)
MAJKA. THE. MID. Nothing else to say, put in a flawless performance in his return to the midlane this season. Somehow managed to share the jungle with Killayoua’s luna (who also had 0 deaths) and ended the game at a solid 27 minutes.
Game 2 MVP
Killayoua (9–2–20 pos. 1 Legion Commander)
Pishtya
team got Sand King for Ice Fudge this week, Pishtya team won 2 games this week. Interesting. Otherwise, this was a closer game 2, but still Pishtya team was in control of the game throughout. The 1+2 combo of Majka and Killayoua went a solid 20–7–39 this game.

Logical 1–1 CC

Game 1 MVP
Alcatraz Swim Team (8–2–10 pos. 1 Anti-Mage)
Typical AM gaming of having a strong lane, especially when paired with clarity’s Lich, into ricing up 3–4 items and death balling down a lane with your team. Alc managed an impressive 21 minute manta-bfury-treads despite a rough 20 minute death.

Powerful.

Game 2 MVP
Smack (17–2–11 pos. 3 Nature’s Prophet)
Put up a massive scoreline, contributing to 28/29 of his teams kills including having over half of the total kills. Along with Fury’s Death Prophet, set a nice fast tempo to allow his terrorblade to farm as well as take away the map from Alc’s spectre.

Ecl9ipse 0–2 Trav2s

Skkip Ember showing out, grabbing 4 kills on Magnus pre 15 minutes

Game 1 MVP
Trav2s (4–8–22 pos. 4 Phoenix)
Fuck you guys I’m taking this for myself this game. Definitely had some moments of completely calculated tactical feeding, but helped Mirage’s Magnus get himself back into the game after a rough laning phase with jungle stacks as well as a few rotations mid to pressure the Skkip Ember Spirit.
Game 2 MVP
Ghost (8–1–17 pos. 3 Queen of Pain)
Showing some love to my lane partner despite the ridiculous 15–2 scoreline from Mirage’s MK and the flawless 6–0–8 morph from Jerry. Dominated lane by himself allowing his support to rotate off the lane as well as dealing the most damage on his team.

Envi 1–1 ColonelSquid

Game 1 MVP
Envi (16–1–11 pos. 1 Phantom Assassin)
The femboy put in a day and a half of work on his 22 pick PA, having a near flawless score line as well as putting up the most damage on his team. His game was handed to him on a platter thanks to Zamo’s flawless DK and his offlane consisting of warcraft’s clock and Shade’s timber going a combined 18–7–41. However, unlike my pubs, the carry delivered and took game 1 convincingly in 35 minutes.
Game 2 MVP
Jah (15–2–17 pos. 1 Nature’s Prophet)
Continuing with the strong NP performances this week, Jah managed to stomp his lane and took that momentum into helping his team shut down the enemy alchemist. Paired with ColonelSquid’s QoP, the duo managed to combine for 29–3–36 as they shut down Envi team to even up the series.

USDanny 1–1 BobbyPMA

SHAME.

Game 1 MVP
Martin (6–1–15 pos. 1 Queen of Pain)
Overcame his team’s virgin 22 pick alchemist to put in a big carry performance, impressively out-damaging his core venomancer and alchemist. Not much else to say about this game, they picked Alchemist and won the game in 30 minutes.
Game 2 MVP
Noobish (16–5–11 pos. 1 Chaos Knight)
Impressively managed to keep up his farm into the ultra late game despite having a very fighting oriented build of armlet->bkb->halberd->basher. Did normal CK things such as kill the enemy supports a total of 10 times throughout the game as well as grabbing himself an illusionist cape, praise RNG.

FrenZyy 0–2 Matieu

Game 1 MVP
Filski (9–1–11 pos. 3 Legion Commander)
Had the most impressive KDA out of the team, who all put in great individual performances for the game 1 win. The team managed to (according to dotabuff) draw all 3 lanes and managed to close the game out relatively quickly without giving up many deaths (13). Special shout out to bloo and sexysteve who as a 4 and 5 combined for less deaths than their 1 and 2 did combined.
Game 2 MVP
Matieu (15–3–13 pos. 1 Riki)
The starfish said “rig this ( ° ͜ʖ͡°)╭∩╮” and decided to carry this game himself, finding enough space to farm a 21 minute diffusal-battlefury against a very high tempo ursa-bloodseeker-lycan tricore. Also his team once again managed to draw all 3 lanes.

W.Stealer 1–1 thamaestro

Pick Veno win game, EZ. (don’t look at lane result tho)

Game 1 MVP
thamaestro (10–4–13 pos. 2 Mars)
Managed to live through the last 13 minutes without a death while going 6–0–8 throughout that span. Running a mars-lifestealer-venomancer tricore, the team fought an equally fight heavy ember-bristle-axe tricore the majority of the game, but managed to come out on top thanks to 2 poor fights by the W.Stealer team past the 30 minute mark.
Game 2 MVP
W.Stealer (13–4–9 pos. 2 Arc Warden)
The man finally got his arc. Crazy. Absolutely just shit out damage, putting up a total of 126k in a long game 2. Overcame 2 early laning phase deaths to stop the lycan-leshrac-brew tricore from pushing down all of his team’s towers. Special shoutout to Dbashore’s RIDICULOUS 28 duel damage Legion Commander throughout a 56 minute game.

DJ Dingus 1–1 Rusy

Game 1 MVP
DJ Dingus (13–5–12 pos. 1 Ursa)
Mans loves his bear. The captain putting up another huge scoreline on ursa as his team took game 1 in a back and forth 48 minute match with help from a rather… questionable… standin.
Game 2 MVP
Turkey (5–5–11 pos. 4 Sniper)
Somehow managed to find enough farm on the map for a 20 minute aghs on sniper with an extremely greedy wraith king-troll-legion tricore. Otherwise a solid overall team performance as the Rusy team grabbed game 2 to even the series.

Mu 2–0 Iceyeti

I want to get off daddy Mu’s wild ride….

Game 1 MVP
Mu (17–3–12 pos. 1 Lifestealer)
Mu thought there was hentai hidden in the other ancient so he decided to giga carry game 1. Had a ridiculous 21 minute treads-mjollnir-halberd and carried his team into the ultra late game for a 56 minute win while swapping roles with Longoria. Will add that he managed to toss a rapier away with his 2nd death at 46 minutes (fedder :v)
Game 2 MVP
Longoria (14–2–15 pos. 1 Void Spirit)
Returning to the safelane for game 2, Longo stayed on the void spirit and had a thoroughly dominant game. Overcame an early game death to be everywhere on the map post laning phase, picking up a kill or assist in 29 of his team’s 33 kills.

bearcat0611 2–0 7EMPEST

Game 1 MVP
Alpha (10–4–11 pos. 2 Lone Druid)
I’m glad Alpha found a new cheese hero to win with, despite his 12 overall pub matches on LD with a massive 33% (!!) winrate. Still managed to put in a strong showing with a lot of help from standin Muggsy’s Sand King.
Game 2 MVP
Alpha (19–1–7 pos. 2 Medusa)
Picking medusa smh. Like most rd2l games, the medusa wins in the end unfortunately despite alpaca’s ridiculous 20–4 timbersaw performance. However, I cannot deny Alpha MVP here as he managed 1 death throughout the 47 minute game and carried his team in the end despite both of his sidelanes getting stomped.

Dark 1–1 DrSteel

Game 1 MVP
Camelfarmer (15–2–12 pos. 2 Queen of Pain)
Camel was close to a 1 death performance as he unfortunately died 20 seconds before the gg was called. However, made enough space on the map in order for his luna to farm up some items to win the game, as his side lanes had a rough time. Despite his rough sidelanes, luckily his enigma thoroughly dominated the jungle.
Game 2 MVP
Dark (16–1–19 pos. 1 Luna)
I’m convinced if you beat Dark team in game 1 he will pick whatever carry you picked in game 1 and shove his foot in your ass. Overcame Hullcity’s tactical feeding, contributing to 7 of his 16 kills, to win the game and even up the series. Will note he was 6 slotted by 32 minutes.

Reedy 1–1 The Clamburglar

Game 1 MVP
Ticket Your
Game 2 MVP
Games Please

Wizard of Chaos 1–1 doss

Big production out of the 5.

Game 1 MVP
HerrSchinken (17–6–16 pos. 5 Witch Doctor)
Holy shit. Managed to kill the enemy 3+4 a total of 13 times throughout the game and along with shmurda’s riki, combined as a lane for 34 of his teams 57 kills.
Game 2 MVP
Chester’s Hot Fries (19–2–3 pos. 2 Clinkz)
Chester proving on the rd2l stage that his hero puddle truly is expanding as he put up another big clinkz performance. He didn’t even have to last pick it! The doss team dominated this game though with their tricore combining for only 5 deaths between them.

Quantum Jojo 1–1 Fume

Game 1 MVP
Bitterra (6–2–10 pos. 2 Lone Druid)
This absolute cycle path had himself a game. You know the game is over when the bear gets an mkb before the enemy PA gets her desolator. Eventually though, the deathball of LD-necro-DP grouped up and ended the game quickly before 30 minutes.
Game 2 MVP
cynicuL (9–2–7 pos. 3 Timbersaw)
The 21 pick timber pays off as he became rather unkillable for the Fume stack, allowing his sniper and Lone Druid to sit back and put out damage. Strong showing again from the StankTrain himself as well as the rest of their team to take a decisive game 2.

INSANE CORNDOG 0–2 AcidRain

Game 1 MVP
Jynx (9–4–27 pos. 4 Mirana)
The pos 4 put in huge work, contributing to 36 of his team’s 39 kills, grabbing 9 of them as well. Helped set up kills for his Thuntard spectre who have a huge game, going 13–1 and kept up a good item progression with a 18 minute vessel.
Game 2 MVP
Thuntard (11–3–13 pos. 1 Riki)
As with most rikis this season in rd2l, became a complete nuisance for the enemy team and was nearly unkillable for the duration of the game. With help from Target’s magnus giving him empower, was able to overcome 2 post laning stage deaths and put up huge damage numbers for the game 2 sweep.

agony 1–1 Bestpinoza

Game 1 MVP
/apex (15–2–10 pos. 1 Phantom Lancer)
The Bestpinoza team impressively didn’t give up a single kill after 27 minutes in the 45 minute game 1 win. A stark difference to their previous weeks where they have managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on more than one occasion. Apex PL managed to come online despite a rough laning phase and a team that didn’t buy an urn against bristleback and death prophet cores to grab game 1.
Game 2 MVP
Halfcast (7–2–20 pos. 2 Weaver)
Picked up a fast aghs to help save his noober cores from feeding as well as being flexible enough to move the weaver into the midlane to dodge the QoP into razor matchup. The agony team managed to matchup their lanes perfectly, getting all the favorable matchups for them and took a fairly easy game 2 win.

Kira 1–1 Brightside

Game 1 MVP
Aqua Road (14–2–7 pos. 2 Drow Ranger)
Aqua Road got an Aqua Road hero and thoroughly smashed game 1, despite a very impressive Kizu Void Spirit. Beat Brightside so badly game 1 that he had to grab himself a stand in for game 2 in order to save the embarrassment of another loss.
Game 2 MVP
Pur3Extacide (5–3–17 pos. 4 Snapfire)
Along with his laning partner, Kizu, who also put in a big game 2, the pair managed to pick up the tempo after crushing lane and not allowing the Aqua Road 22 pick Anti-Mage to coming online.

Voldrox 0–2 goatsatan

Game 1 MVP
Buying Onions (21–3–9 pos. 1 Legion Commander)
Mans put on a clinic on how to play LC, topping the damage chart as well as getting himself an impressive 266 duel damage in a fairly 1 sided game 1 win. Also played a key part in shutting down the enemy Anti-Mage, grabbing 5 kills on the enemy pos 1.
Game 2 MVP
FooSquash (7–1–11 pos. 2 Rubick)
After many weeks of receiving rubick bans, he finally managed to get on his rubick in an rd2l game and even grabbed it with 22 pick. Despite dying infinitely more than the Buying Onions 8–0 Wraith King (fedder :v), the midlaner managed to create chaos on the map and make enough space for his WK to farm up a 21 minute radiance-AC so they could barrel down a lane and pick up a quick 24 minute game 2 win.

Captain Pepega 2–0 Tiramisu

ALMOST pulled of the classic RD2L giga throw

Game 1 MVP
Wax (13–3–14 pos. 2 Templar Assassin)
Much like FooSquash, Wax got to pick a signature hero and dominated on it. All 3 cores from the Pepega team had an impressive game 1 as they put away the struggling Tiramisu team with ease, despite a potential giga throw at 29 minutes where they lost all 5 heroes+aegis on TA.
Game 2 MVP
Forfeit PepeHands

Calamity 0–2 Sebastian

Game 1 MVP
Cam (21–3–16 pos. 2 Razor)
Somehow this game went long enough for the razor to pick up 20+ kills despite winning 2 lanes and playing against a fairly greedy radiant lineup. Nevertheless, Cam’s razor did an excellent job in shutting down the enemy Monkey King and creating space for Minicolt to farm up to be the late game carry they needed to close out game 1.
Game 2 MVP
Minicolt (15–4–9 pos. 1 Lycan)
The 21 pick lycan pays off as the Sebastian team managed to close out this week with their 1st 2–0 of the season, putting them right back into the playoff race. Minicolt showing versatility with his hero pool that he can play tempo carries at an elite rd2l level as well as his typical late game carries.
