EST-SUN MVP’s and Predictions
Calamity 0–2 Pishtya
Game 1 MVP
Hemsworth (Clockwerk pos. 4)
9–6–22. Ended with 3k less damage than his radiance dk. 75% kill participation.
Game 2 MVP
Ice Fudge (Sand King pos. 3)
7–4–32. 2nd highest damage on his team, 83% kill participation while dying only 4 times in a 42 minute game
Fume 0–2 W.Stealer
Game 1 MVP
Simple (Leshrac pos. 2)
8–3–12. 83% kill participation and highest damage in the game all while losing lane peepoglad.
Game 2 MVP
W.Stealer (Bristleback pos. 3)
13–2–17. 85% kill participation. Unfortunately he played bristle with a kotl so he’s a mega cuck, but did the most damage in the game and managed to be an unkillable brick.
Brightside 1–1 7EMPEST
Game 1 MVP
Gentleman Bastard (Juggernaut pos. 1)
8–3–8. Finished the game with the highest building damage and healing. Died only 3 times in a nearly 50 minute match. From the looks of it afk hit creeps VERY effectively.
Game 2 MVP
Alpaca (Dazzle pos. 3)
9–3–12. Managed to negate brightside’s beta razor gameplay and does the normal core dazzle gameplay of stomping lane into winning game.
AcidRain 0–2 Dark
Game 1 MVP
Saul (Dragon Knight pos. 2)
16–2–19. Rigged standin of the week award as well as having 76% kill participation in a near 50 minute game while dying only 2 times. Points taken off for picking a beta hero, but still a great performance.
Game 2 MVP
Dark (Bounty Hunter pos. 1)
19–4–18. I can only imagine how many shekels were stolen during the course of this game.
DrSteel 1–1 ColonelSquid
Game 1 MVP
ColonelSquid (Gyrocopter pos. 1)
Double rapier gaming for the win. Shout out to HullCity07’s 0–14–16 bugna performance which I can only imagine was a big factor in Squid’s ability to farm his double rapier.
Game 2 MVP
Camelfarmer (Sniper pos. 2)
14–5–17. A bit disappointed no aghs, but had a great performance regardless with the standard right click turret sniper build.
Avgpeen 0–2 Reedy
Game 1 MVP
Sonnegod Sadboy (Troll Warlord pos. 1)
14–2–9. Led his team in pretty much every statistical category and had a 25 minute treads, battlefury, sny, satanic. Surprised he died even once post 25 minutes.
Game 2 MVP
Vinnysal (Clinkz pos. 1)
16–11–9. The rare occurance of MVP being from the losing team, but he had over 50% of his teams total kills including having almost as much total damage as his entire team combined. Solo carried his team to a competitive, near 50 minute game.
Agony 1–1 Quantum Jojo
Game 1 MVP
Noobercvst (Necro pos. 3)
8–2–19. Despite feeding early in laning phase, managed to come back and contribute 86% kill participation becoming the space maker they needed while their AM afk farmed to take over the late game.
Game 2 MVP
No one (ticket games pls)
Logical 2–0 BMTS
Game 1 MVP
Logical (Weaver pos. 1)
25–2–7. Overcame 2 fairly early deaths to gigacarry his team to a win.
Game 2 MVP
Disciple Fury (Rubick pos. 2)
11–2–11. Managed to make enough space midgame for his offlaner to buy a radiance and his safelaner buy a battlefury and get away with it.
Rusy 0–2 CC
Game 1 MVP
Alcatraz Swim Team (Razor pos. 1)
21–7–16. Had a ridiculous 73k hero damage and judging from the draft took razor in order to give his midlaner a much better lane by avoiding the qop. Impressive performance especially considering I don’t consider razor a hero that fits his playstyle.
Game 2 MVP
killazoid (Mirana pos. 4)
5–1–30. 85% Kill participation and managed a pretty solid item progression as a position 4. Unfortunately dotabuff/opendota doesn’t show how many arrows that were launched into a range creep or off the map so I may be way off here and killazoid is just a gigantic griefer.
Sebastian 0–2 Trav2s
Game 1 MVP
Mirage (Injoker pos. 2)
Despite getting solo killed by cam on qop early in the laning phase, he came back and put up a really solid 13–3–13.
Game 2 MVP
Jerracabra (Morphling pos. 1)
Had a flawless 15–0–15 scoreline while leading his team in most statistical categories. Special shout out to mirage who put up one of the most impressive monkey king games I’ve seen after laning against a batrider.
Wizard of Chaos 0–2 USDanny
Game 1 MVP
jd (Nature’s Prophet pos. 3)
Jd managed a 13–3–21 scoreline while having to perform within a void of testosterone considering he’s playing with USDanny and local 22 pick alchemist spammer Rice Boi. Now that is impressive.
Game 2 MVP
Rice Boi (Bounty Hunter pos. 2)
Shockingly managed to purchase a bkb before his 4th item all while going 18–7–19. Hopefully he uses those stolen shekels to buy himself some protein to make up for picking a 22 pick alch the game before.
Doss 1–1 Voldrox
Game 1 MVP
Voldrox (Grimstroke pos. 4)
This dude managed to be part of 35 of his team’s 36 kills, going 10–4–25. That’s actually a ridiculous statline.
Game 2 MVP
Chester’s Hot Fries (Clinkz pos. 2)
This was a toss up between him and doss especially given their nearly identical statline, but Chester will get the nod this week with his 19–4–15 statline.
Kira 1–1 Iceyeti
Game 1 MVP
Izumi (Ember Spirit pos. 2)
Despite losing, put up a crazy 12–1–17 statline while doing the most damage in the server including an early laning phase kill on Aqua Road’s morphling who managed an equally impressive 15–4–12 performance.
Game 2 MVP
Mr. Clean (Clockwerk pos. 3)
Somehow managed to die only twice on a hero who’s ultimate ability is literally throwing himself into the enemy team. Put up a 6–2–27 scoreline.
Econ 2–0 bearcat0611
Game 1 MVP
Double King (Razor pos. 1)
I wanted to give this to Stang for his TA performance, but I couldn’t deny an 18–1–14 statline even if he picked the most beta lane of razor+lich.
Game 2 MVP
Double King (Gyrocopter pos. 1)
This game is pretty much what EST-SUN was expecting from this team post draft, 2 lanes lost, but Double King and Miyushi stomping their lane. Double King put up an impressive 20–4–16 gyro.
FrenZyy 0–2 Ecl9ipse
Game 1 MVP
Brightside (badmin)
Game 2 MVP
Trav2s (badmin)
Lala 2–0 Bestpinoza
Game 1 MVP
EmperorofAsia (Gyrocopter pos. 1)
Put up a solid 6–2–10 statline to complete a nice game 1 comeback. Game 1 was decided by a super disastrous fight by dire so it was hard to give an MVP out without watching it.
Game 2 MVP
Diego (Ogre Magi pos. 5)
Like game 1 this could’ve gone to anyone on the team, but this game was a stomp rather a close comeback win. I can’t not give the pos 5 ogre some love with a 8–3–21 statline though.
Envi 2–0 thamaestro
Game 1 MVP
Zamolxes (Outworld Devourer pos. 2)
Zamo still living 3 patches ago picking OD, but he giga stomped this game with a 14–1–3 scoreline.
Game 2 MVP
Zamolxes (Kunkka pos. 2)
Like game 1 was nearly flawless putting up a 7–1–16 statline, leading his team in most statistical categories and making ample space for his PL to farm up and carry the late game.
Sasquatch 2–0 goatsatan
Game 1 MVP
Coahre (Nature’s Prophet pos. 2)
Overcame a rough lane and 2 early deaths to comeback with a 13–5–11 statline. Somehow managed 11 assists with a global ult however. MonkaHmm.
Game 2 MVP
Mercii (Clockwerk pos. 4)
Unfortunately the dirty 22 pick brood pickers had to win, but mercii put up a solid 11–4–14 statline on a pos 4 clock.
DJ Dingus 2–0 Captain Pepega
Game 1 MVP
Detective Diglett (Lina pos. 2)
Came back from an early death in laning phase to put up a big 15–4–19 while leading his team in damage.
Game 2 MVP
DJ Dingus (Ursa pos. 1)
Absolutely crushed this game putting up a ridiculous 20–5–11 statline. You know you stomped when dotabuff registers the other team’s 3 and 4 as both supports.
Mu 2–0 The Clamburglar
Game 1 MVP
Tokamak (Mars pos. 3)
Killed the enemy pos 1 4 times by minute 8 and continued off that strong lane to a solid 12–7–18 statline.
Game 2 MVP
Mu (Necro pos. 2)
Despite dying 3 times pre 9 minutes, Mu finished the game flawlessly finishing 12–3–17. Bought a bottle on necro that I can only imagine is filled with the finest of breast milk.
BobbyPMA 1–1 INSANE CORNDOG
Game 1 MVP
Lemon (Clinkz pos. 1)
How could you not give this to lemon here. 23–7–16 statline to carry his team to a win. Unfortunately will be a pyrrhic victory as teams will remember he can only play clinkz.
Game 2 MVP
Flanking (Queen of Pain pos. 4)
Despite noobish having a flawless game on naga, I can’t give MVP to a virgin naga player. Also Flanking had himself an absolute game on qop going 9–1–25 on the 4 qop, including a brown boots linkens item build.
Tiramisu 0–2 Matieu
Game 1 MVP
Bambino (Zeus pos. 2)
Despite the loss, was an integral reason as to why this game hit the hour mark, going 4–5–22 on Zeus with a whopping 82k hero damage.
Game 2 MVP
Matieu (Monkey King pos. 1)
Had himself an overall solid game, capitalizing off a strong laning phase to carry his team with a 14–3–7 scoreline on the monkey.
